Want to combat odors in the refrigerator? Place a jar with activated carbon or charcoal, ground coffee, a lemon cut in half or dry tea bag in the refrigerator.
Spilled beer on your room carpet? Don’t panic, these are quite easy to remove. First pat the area as dry as possible with paper towels. Then you add a mixture of water, vinegar and mild detergent. Important, do not rub the stain! Finally, dry the carpet again with a hairdryer.
Spilled wine on your favorite T-shirt? Quickly pat dry with paper towels, then pour sparkling water over the stain. Then put the garment in the wash as quickly as possible with a pre-wash and main wash. Finally, let it dry in the sun to fade the last stains.
Is there no longer as much water coming out of your shower head? Then try descaling it. You can do this very easily by filling a plastic bag with water and vinegar (or a container if the shower head is in a holder). Put your shower head in the water, tie it and let it soak for 30 minutes. Then rinse the shower head.
